Sunday mornings!

It is currently my favorite time of the week. The house is quiet & peaceful and I start by getting up early and putting on an entire pot of coffee. I lounge and watch CBC news Sunday with Evan Soloman and Carol McNeil religiously every Sunday morning until its all gone. Its my thing.

Currently +39 with the humidex!! Whoa.

Must go and weed the garden before they devour the house! Check out my garden photos. Don't laugh at the gnome in my garden. I LOVE him!! ;-)

Welcome to my first ever blog. Figured it was time to jump on the blog bandwagon! Today is holiday Monday so I am at home doing a whole lot of nothing! Here is a photo of my choir (Atlantic Voices) this past Saturday morning, July 1, singing the Ode to Newfoundland at the National War Memorial in Otawa, Ontario. Quite an honour !!! Kelly Russell, Newfoundland fiddler, is accompanying us. (Just to the right)
